For more than twenty years, our family has had the privilege of helping produce this special commemoration of the anniversary of 9/11. It has become a wonderful tradition for our family and for the Branson community.

This year’s Branson Remembers 9/11 Commemoration will be Monday, September 11 at 6 p.m. at the Fountains at Branson Landing. You don’t want to miss this special time to reflect and remember. Bring your family, friends, neighbors and lawn chairs for this remarkable Branson tradition.

You’ll see two beautiful fire trucks with a huge American flag suspended above the fountains. The Branson Police Department will be on site and the Forsyth JROTC and Branson Veterans Association will present the colors, do a rifle volley and Taps.

This year, Brydon Brett will be the Master of Ceremonies; Marine Veteran, Marie Voegel, will be the guest speaker; Dean Z & Cassandre’ Haygood will be performing patriotic music; and Andrea Brett will lead the traditional Bell Ringing Ceremony. Mayor Larry Milton will also be making a very special presentation. At the conclusion of the event, the audience, including children, will be invited to come down and help fold the big flag.

This is a beautiful, patriotic ceremony that represents all that is good about America and the Branson community. Please join us for Branson Remembers 9/11. You’ll be glad you did!
